OPTOCOUPLERS / ISOLATORS
As safety products, optocouplers are designed to protect sensitive control circuitry or people from high voltages. They galvanically isolate the low- and high-voltage sides of a circuit by using an infrared emitter to transmit the control signal to a photo detector and reduce electrical noise coupling. Optocouplers from Vishay feature high isolation voltages, wide temperature ranges, and a wide range of output configurations to provide a perfect fit for your application.

PHOTO DETECTORS
Vishay has the broadest portfolio of PIN photobodies on the market. Vishay's photo detectors, photo transistors, and light detectors offer lower capacitance, provide high-speed response, and low noise and low dark current along with excellent sensitivity. They are ideal for high-speed data transfer, light barriers, alarm systems, and linear light measurement.
LED
For instruments, switches, icon backlighting, and general and architectural lighting, Vishay offers LEDs in a variety of SMD and leaded packages. Leaded LEDs are available in 1.8 mm, 3 mm, 5 mm, and square 4-lead TELUX packages. Standard and power LEDs are offered in packages with PLCC-2/4 dimensions, while MiniLEDs feature a small 2.3 mm x 1.4 mm x 1.2 mm SMD package. The next smallest package is the 0603 in lead-frame and PCB-based versions, followed by the smallest package in the Vishay portfolio: the new 0402 series. The 1 W Little Star® features a height profile of < 1.5 mm, which is 17 % thinner than a typical PLCC6 package.
SOLID-STATE RELAYS
Vishay’s solid-state relays (SSRs) are designed for high reliability, high input-to-output isolation, and low on-resistance. With small dimensions, low power consumption, and bounce-free operation, they offer many advantages compared to mechanical relays. Vishay SSRs are perfectly suited to replace mechanical relays and are the ideal solution for signal switching in telecommunications, industrial automation, security systems, and metering applications.
IRDA® TRANSCEIVERS
Vishay’s infrared data transceivers enable short-distance wireless data communication. Design engineers trust in their performance and rely on local sales and global application engineering support that only Vishay provides on a worldwide basis. Vishay offers transceivers operating up to 115 kbit/s for every application, including data collection, medical, vending, point-of-sale (POS), and access control. All our transceivers are lead (Pb)-free and capable of lead (Pb)-free processing. In addition, the transceivers are in accordance to RoHS 2002/95/EU and WEEE 2002/96/EU.
LCD/PLASMA/TOUCH/LED DISPLAY
