POWER ICS - SMART LOAD SWITCHES
Combining multiple functions in a single IC, Vishay smart load switches eliminate the need for external circuitry . A simplified GPIO interface allows for power distribution and sequencing of multiple sub-systems. Slew-rate-control devices provide a controlled supply ramp to reduce inrush current, while fault protection and isolation switches increase robustness with reverse current, overtemperature, current limiting, and short circuit protection features. The ICs offer quick output discharge and small footprints, while their integrated design saves PCB space compared to discrete solutions, reduces BOM counts, and lowers manufacturing costs.
POWER ICS - MICROBUCK® - VOLTAGE REGULATOR
microBUCK® integrated voltage regulators (buck regulators) leverage Vishay's unique combination of discrete MOSFET design, IC expertise, and packaging capability to provide cost-effective, high-performance integrated solutions that deliver a significant reduction in board space requirements. This benefits the designer by giving more space for critical system functionality. Typical applications include notebook, desktop, and server computers, digital HDTV, digital consumer applications, printers, DSL, and STB applications, embedded applications and point of load power supplies.

POWER ICS - VRPOWER® (DRMOS) - POWER STAGE
The Next Generation VRPower® Power Stage, Vishay’s family of VRPower modules offers an integrated MOSFET and driver power stage with unsurpassed performance. The flagship device, SiC620R is capable of 70 A and achieves more than 95 % efficiency in a typical multiphase buck converter design. The device has several package enhancements that enable it to offer superior MOSFET dynamic performance. Combined with Vishay’s state-of-the-art Gen IV MOSFET technology, these enhancements enable 3 % better efficiency and over 50 °C lower operating temperatures compared to previous generation DrMOS devices while shrinking the footprint by 33 %.
ANALOG SWITCHES AND MULTIPLEXERS
Vishay offers analog switches in all major configuration types (SPST, SPDT, DPST, DPDT) and in nearly 20 surface-mount and through-hole package types. Applications include data acquisition, industrial process control, test and measurment, and medical systems as well as signal switching in cell phones,set-top boxes, PDAs, media players and video games.
